Lime Cream
The perfect lime cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 dl Water
- 6 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Limes
- 2 dl Cream
- Mix cornstarch, water, sugar and limes (grated zest, squeeze out juice and set aside) in a small pan with a whisk. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. As soon as the mass has set, remove the pan from the heat immediately.
- Pour the mixture through a sieve into a bowl. Allow to cool and cover for approx. 30 minutes.
- Add lime juice to the cooled mass and stir. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
