Salad with Angler Tuna

The perfect salad with angler tuna recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Boiled potatoes
  • Cooked garlic
  • A red onion
  • Kampot pepper (black)
  • Gray salt
  • Lime Olive Oil
  • Orange balsamic vinegar
  • Fishing tuna
  • Roma tomatoes
  • Chives fresh
  • Slices of toast
  1. If it weren’t for this special tuna – it would be a completely normal recipe ….. but unfortunately it doesn’t exist that often – the angler tuna. The difference in taste to the usual large red tuna is enormous. More aromatic, delicate and very fine in taste. Such is the little white fishing tuna. He is caught off the northern Spanish coast of the Basque Country. At the time I felt at home in Spain, I was fortunate enough to meet fishermen who caught this fish on a line. In the port of Blanes, if you got up very early in the morning, you could buy the fish (with a lot of luck). The very limited catch today means that it is very difficult to get hold of it. Today I buy it on the Internet, pickled in cold-pressed olive oil. Even then, it is extremely difficult to obtain permanently. But if it works – then I’m very happy. I have now attached a picture to this recipe, among other things – there you can see the angler tuna from said anglers, which I was able to buy regularly in the past. Unfortunately, it is no longer the case today. See picture no.2

The preparation

  1. All ingredients are prepared one after the other according to the list of ingredients (according to the attached pictures) and then processed together.
  2. Please make sure to mix the ingredients very carefully – everything should remain individually recognizable and edible. That’s it already. Simply hand over a few slices of toast and enjoy.

Bon appetit and culinary greetings your Biggi ♥
