Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 30 g honey
  • 90 g flour
  • 1 tbsp lime peel (organic), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Honey flavored with egg yolk. Makes 30 pieces.

Beat butter and sugar until thick and fluffy. Stir in egg yolks and honey. Then fold in the flour and lime zest. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Fill a piping bag with a piping nozzle with the mixture. Pipe in approximately 8 cm long strips with thickened ends (like cat’s tongue) onto baking sheets lined with baking paper. Bake on the middle rack for about 8-10 minutes. The cookies should still be light in color and are done when the edges are light brown.
