Limoncello cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 80 g sugar
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 lemon(s), zest and juice
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 ml liqueur (limoncello)
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For the coffee table

Combine flour, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl. Add the butter in small pieces and mix. Add the zest of one lemon, egg, limoncello, and the juice of half a lemon and mix everything into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Form the dough into walnut-sized balls. Sprinkle some sugar on a plate and roll the balls in it, then place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them. Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for about 10 minutes, until the cookies are golden brown.
