Ingredients for 30 servings:

  • 600 g flour
  • 220 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs, including the yolk
  • 400 g margarine
  • 1 jar jam (red currant)
  • 4 tbsp rum
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Knead the flour, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, and margarine into a dough and let it rest in a cool place for 2 hours. Then roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick and cut out small discs using a biscuit cutter. Half of the discs should have 1-3 holes in the center. Bake the discs on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. Place one full disc and one with a hole together with the jam mixed with rum, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
