Liqueurs: Blackberry Liqueur with Chilli Spice

fruit
- 850 g Blackberries fresh
Gwort
- 3 g Habanero chilli, orange
Alcohol basic
- 600 ml Vodka
- 300 g Sugar brown raw sugar
preparation
- Pick the blackberries, sort and wash … Wash and core the chilli pepper (orange habanero, very hot !!!))
Manufacturing
- Puree the blackberries and chilli pepper and mix with sugar and 300 ml vodka in a container, close the container and shake vigorously once
maturation
- Let it ripen at room temperature for approx. 12 weeks, initially shaking the glass jar every day and shaking it every 3-5 days later … pour through a sieve into large measuring vessels … add the liqueur base and squeeze it out … again into the first mixing vessel (do not clean !!!!!!) and fill up with 300 ml of vodka … let ripen for another 4-6 weeks
Bottling
- Put a sieve with a cotton cloth in large measuring vessels … Put the liqueur neck in and squeeze it out … Fill the liqueur through a fine sieve into beautiful bottles and add writing or a label if necessary
Storage & shelf life
- At room temperature in the (mini) bar, the blackberry liqueur will keep for several months, with the taste becoming more intense over time
