Liver sausage and potato pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes, waxy
  • 2 onions
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 large apple
  • 400 g liver sausage, coarse
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin (!) slices (e.g. use a grater). Peel and finely chop the onion. Clean the bell pepper and cut into fine strips. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the potatoes. After 10 minutes, add the bell pepper strips and fry for a further few minutes. Then reduce the heat to low and let simmer. Peel, core, and slice the apple. Add to the pan along with the onion and continue frying. Halve the liverwurst and press the insides into the pan. Heat briefly while stirring and season with salt and pepper. Serve with a light beer and a green salad.
