Liver Strips …
The perfect liver strips … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Liver strips …
- 300 g Pork liver fresh
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- Pepper
- Fat for frying
- 2 Fresh onions
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Dried thyme
- 1 Apple fresh
- 3 Centiliters Calvados
… with onion – potato – puree
- 400 g Potatoes
- Salt
- 1 Fresh onion
- Some butter
- Some Milk
- Nutmeg
Liver strips …
- Wash, dry and cut the liver into strips. Put the flour on a plate, season with pepper. Roll the liver strips in flour and fry them in hot fat.
- Peel the onions and cut into thin wedges. Add to the liver and fry. Mix in the thyme.
- Peel the apple, remove the core and cut into thin wedges. Mix under the liver. Deglaze with calvados.
Onion – potato – puree
- Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water.
- Peel the onion, dice finely. Fry until golden brown in hot fat.
- Drain the potatoes. Warm milk. Puree the potatoes with butter and milk. Season with nutmeg. Stir in the fried onion.
