Albanian pastry

Mix the egg, yogurt, salt, and baking soda. Gradually knead in enough flour to form a soft, supple dough that no longer sticks to your hands. Let the dough rest briefly, then roll it out to about 0.5 cm thick. Cut into small squares/diamonds (about 4 cm sides) using a pastry wheel or knife. Heat plenty of oil in a deep pan and fry the dough pieces until golden brown. Serve with savory dips and spreads, as well as jams, honey, or jellies. It is mainly prepared for breakfast.
