Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g butter, soft
  • 140 g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 200 g flour
  • e.g. jam (e.g. currant)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 140 g sugar
  • 140 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g chocolate, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Christmas biscuits, makes about 40 pieces

For the dough, beat the softened butter, sugar, and egg yolks until fluffy. Sift the flour over the dough, knead it, and roll it out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread with the jam. For the topping, beat the egg whites until stiff, then drizzle in the sugar. Then fold in the nuts and chocolate and spread over the dough. Bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Tip: Plum jam also tastes delicious instead of blackcurrant jam!
