Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • Baking spray (fat-free cooking spray)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Slimming World recipe

Peel the potatoes and cut into finger-thick French fries. Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Boil the potato sticks for 5 minutes. Let them dry thoroughly and cover. Let them cool slightly and shake them in the pot to roughen the edges. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the fries in a single layer on top. Lightly spray everything with cooking spray and bake for at least 20 minutes, or until the fries are golden brown. Season with salt and serve hot. A classic side dish with very few calories.
