Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 200 g cooked ham
- 75 ml broth
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- pepper
- Broth, granulated, or salt
- n. B. garlic
- possibly oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
without cream, suitable for WW
Brown the ham and onion either in oil or using the low-fat method: Place both ingredients in a cold pot and mix gently, cover, and heat briefly on high. As soon as you hear it bubbling in the pot, reduce the heat to low and sauté briefly with the lid closed. Pour in the stock and continue to simmer with the lid closed. Pour in the milk, bring to a boil, and thicken with the cornstarch mixed with a little water or milk. Season to taste with instant stock, salt, pepper, and garlic, if desired. The liquid measurements are approximate. Some people like more sauce, some less. Simply thicken with more or less cornstarch as needed. Tip: The sauce goes well with spaghetti and all other types of pasta. For pasta bakes, simply pour it over the cooked pasta, spread 100-200g of cheese on top, and bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. If you like, you can also add canned peas and/or mushrooms, or steamed zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, or asparagus…
