  • 2 apples
  • 2 tbsp, heaped protein powder, vanilla or neutral
  • 3 drops of vanilla flavor or lemon flavor
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

simple and quick, with lots of protein and little fat/carbohydrates, a delight hot or cold

Using a hand mixer, mix the quark, milk, and vanilla pudding powder with the protein powder, chia seeds, sweetener, and flavoring. Add water as needed until the mixture is slightly watery. Peel and core the apples, if desired. Reserve a few slices for decoration, finely grate or chop the rest, and stir into the mixture. Lightly grease a baking dish and pour in the batter. Arrange the apple slices in the shape of a rose. If desired, you can also sprinkle some chia seeds on top. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 160°C (convection oven) for about 60 minutes. Tastes best fresh from the oven or from the refrigerator. Note: The protein powder can easily be replaced with an egg. Cinnamon and/or vanilla flavoring are also suitable instead of lemon flavoring. If you want to omit the chia seeds, use a little less water.
