Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 300 g almond(s), ground
  • 50 g chia seeds
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

If possible, grind the chia seeds briefly, e.g., in a coffee grinder or mortar. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/gas mark 3. Mix the chia seed mixture well with the quark and let it sit for 10 minutes. Thoroughly mix the almonds, baking powder, and salt, then knead with the chia quark to form a smooth dough. Pour the dough into a baking pan or shape into a loaf. Bake for approximately 50 minutes and then let it cool completely. The calorie information refers to one loaf.
