Low-carb melon dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g quark, 40%
  • 150 g yogurt, 3.8%, stirred until creamy
  • ½ Galia melon
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar substitute (raw cane sugar substitute), alternatively erythritol
  • some cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

vegetarian

Mix together the quark, yogurt, sweetener (I use Xucker Bronxe), and cinnamon, and season to taste. Deseed the Galia melon and scoop out balls or cut into small pieces. Layer in a glass. This dessert shouldn’t be left to stand for long, as the melon could dilute the quark. If you don’t want to keep it low-carb, you can also use brown sugar as a sweetener. Garnish with grated dark chocolate, if desired.
