Low-Carb Pancakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 30 g protein powder (e.g. with vanilla)
  • 10 g whole wheat flour or ground oats
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp milk (e.g. coconut milk)
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the protein powder with the whole-wheat flour and baking powder in a small bowl, then stir in the egg whites and milk. Cook the batter in a nonstick and greased pan (I use coconut oil) over medium heat until pancakes form. Add about a tablespoon of batter to the pan and spread it out slightly, as the batter is rather firm. Once the batter starts to bubble, flip it over. This delicious dish goes well with quark with fresh fruit or calorie-free chocolate syrup. 5 small pancakes contain approximately: 7.34 g carbohydrates, 9.5 g protein, 2.2 g fat.
