Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g cauliflower
- 2 m.-sized eggs
- some salt
- 250 g Emmental cheese
- 200 g Tilsiter
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 200 g herb cream cheese or natural
- 2 sprigs of parsley
- 1 bunch of chives
- 200 g lean or streaky bacon, to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Divide the cauliflower and cook in a little salted water until al dente. Drain well. Let it cool slightly and knead it with the egg, finely grated Emmental, and Tilsiter cheeses until coarsely ground. Place the mixture on a prepared baking sheet and bake at 180°C (350°F) on the middle rack for about 25 minutes. Mix the cream cheese with the finely chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cauliflower base and sprinkle with the diced bacon and the sliced spring onions. Return to the oven for another 15 minutes at the same setting until cooked through. 650 kcal per serving.
