Quick quark and oat rolls without flour

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 100 g oat flakes, fine
  • 50 g almonds, ground or other nuts
  • 50 g quinoa pops
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp lemon zest from an organic lemon
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 50 g natural yogurt
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g quark
  • some oat flakes, kernels or almond flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients with the baking powder and lemon zest. Then mix in all the remaining ingredients. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. With wet hands, form the dough into about 6 rolls, sprinkle with oatmeal/almonds, or similar, and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until they are a nice golden brown. Let the rolls cool slightly and enjoy with jam, honey, sausage, etc.
