Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 g bran (spelt bran)
  • 10 g flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 45 g quark (40% fat)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the spelt bran and baking powder in a microwave-safe bowl and mix. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything into a smooth paste. Let it stand for about 10 minutes. After the resting time, cover the bowl and place it in the microwave for 3 minutes at 800 watts. Remove the solidified mixture from the bowl and place it on a plate, uncovered, in the microwave for another minute at 800 watts. Let it cool and cut in half. Depending on the shape and size of the bowl, you can even cut three slices. If you like, you can toast the slices. Now top with whatever you like. The carbohydrate information per 100g of bread: Spelt bran: 18g Flaxseed meal: 0g Quark with 40% fat: 3.7g yields approximately 3.7g of carbohydrates per toast/sandwich.
