Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 250 g margarine
  • 300 g glucose
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 170 ml milk
  • Fat and flour for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

without sugar, only with glucose

Grease and flour the baking pan. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Beat the margarine and glucose until fluffy. Add the vanilla seeds and salt. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Stir in enough milk until the batter falls off the spoon and is creamy. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (top/bottom heat: 150°C) for about 60 minutes.
