Lucky Mushroom Cookies

The perfect lucky mushroom cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g White chocolate
  • Sugar writing red / white
  1. Mix the butter, sugar, egg, orange zest and salt
  2. Add flour and a little milk and knead everything vigorously. The dough must not be sticky, if necessary process it with flour or milk.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and form a thick ball. Wrap them first in cling film and then in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  4. Roll out the dough on a work surface dusted with flour and cut out with a mushroom mold. On a baking sheet in the preheated oven – top / bottom heat 180 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. When the cookies have cooled down a bit, brush the mushroom heads with chocolate. When this is dry, draw the dots with sugar-coated letters.
