Lucky Mushroom Cookies
The perfect lucky mushroom cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Soft butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 300 g Flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Orange zest
- Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 250 g White chocolate
- Sugar writing red / white
- Mix the butter, sugar, egg, orange zest and salt
- Add flour and a little milk and knead everything vigorously. The dough must not be sticky, if necessary process it with flour or milk.
- Knead the dough until smooth and form a thick ball. Wrap them first in cling film and then in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Roll out the dough on a work surface dusted with flour and cut out with a mushroom mold. On a baking sheet in the preheated oven – top / bottom heat 180 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a water bath. When the cookies have cooled down a bit, brush the mushroom heads with chocolate. When this is dry, draw the dots with sugar-coated letters.
