Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g pasta, short
- salt and pepper
- 300 g broccoli
- ½ bunch thyme
- 4 eggs
- 150 g whipped cream
- ⅛ liter milk
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 75 g smoked streaky bacon
- 1 tbsp butter
- 40 g cheese (Gouda)
- Fat, for the casserole dish
Instructions

with broccoli
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes, or until al dente. Trim and wash the broccoli, and divide it into florets. Cook for about 5 minutes. Drain both. Wash the thyme and pick off the leaves. Whisk together the eggs, cream, and milk. Season with salt, pepper, and the thyme. Peel and chop the garlic. Finely dice the bacon and fry in a large, dry pan until crispy. Sauté the garlic. Add the pasta and broccoli and toss briefly. Transfer everything to a greased baking dish. Pour the egg and cream over the top. Grate the cheese and sprinkle over the top. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of butter over the top. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200°C/fan: 175°C/gas mark 3) for 30-35 minutes. Cover towards the end, if necessary.
