Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 125 g cheese (Gouda), diced
  • 300 g diced ham (alternatively fried mushrooms)
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • curry powder
  • Breadcrumbs
  • some butter, cut into flakes
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Place half of the pasta in a greased baking dish and add the finely chopped cheese cubes and ham or mushrooms, if using. Place the remaining pasta on top. Whisk together the eggs and milk and season with spices. Pour over the pasta. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and a few knobs of butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 20 minutes, until the breadcrumbs are lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
