Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat (mixed or pork)
- 1 large onion(s)
- 500 g cheese (Emmental or pizza cheese)
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp spice mix (Chinese spice)
- 1 clove(s) garlic or garlic granules
- Salt and pepper (from the mill)
- 2 cans of tomato paste
- 2 tsp soup (powder or cubes)
- 1 cup(s) water
- 2 cups of cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g pasta (macaroni)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Chop the onion and lightly brown it with a little olive oil. Add the ground beef and fry. Add the oregano, Chinese spice, garlic, tomato paste, salt, pepper, and the stock cube dissolved in water. After about 10 minutes, add about 100g of the cheese and 1/2 cup of cream. In the meantime, cook the macaroni until al dente. Then layer the macaroni, cheese, and ground beef mixture alternately in a baking dish. (The top layer should be some cheese; it creates a nice crust.) Finally, pour the remaining cream over the casserole and bake everything in the oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes.
