Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 125 g desiccated coconut
  • 3 almonds, bitter, ground or 1 drop of bitter almond oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of vanilla sugar
  • n. B. Chocolate coating
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Coconut macaroons

Beat the egg whites and salt until almost stiff. Then gradually add the powdered sugar. Lightly fold in the desiccated coconut and seasoning. Using two teaspoons or a piping bag, place small mounds onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at low heat for about 15 minutes until golden brown. If desired, partially coat with chocolate coating.
