Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ liter of water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper or Tabasco
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 cl rum or tequila

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simmer the vanilla pods in the milk for 10 minutes. Scrape out the seeds and bring them to a boil with the cocoa powder in the water. Add the milk and mix well. Stir in the honey, cane sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, and rum. Done! Serve very hot or well chilled.
