Mahonia and Mirabelle Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g berries (mahonia), fresh
  • 800 g mirabelle plums
  • 500 g gelling sugar 3:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Wash all the fruit, pit the mirabelle plums, and place them in a saucepan with the mahonia plums. Sprinkle the gelling sugar over the fruit and let it absorb until the juice forms. Bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes. Pour into prepared jars, seal, and turn the jars upside down for about 10 minutes, then turn them upside down and let them cool.
