Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch of salt
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 65 g quark
- 4 drops of bitter almond oil
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- 100 g chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Beat the 4 egg whites with a pinch of salt, the sugar, and the vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Then fold in the quark, bitter almond oil, and desiccated coconut. Place the coconut macaroons in small piles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the coconut macaroons for about 15 minutes at 180°C (top/bottom heat). Then melt the chocolate coating in a water bath, dip the macaroons in, and let them dry.
