Make cocoa yourself: Less is more
You can recognize high-quality cocoa by the following ingredients – that’s all you need to make delicious drinking chocolate:
- Half a liter of milk
- 125 grams chocolate (milk or dark)
- 100 grams of whipped cream
- Half a vanilla bean
Preparation: How to make hot chocolate yourself
The preparation of cocoa is very easy and quick. We show you how it works.
- Slowly melt the chocolate in a water bath.
- Bring the milk and cream to a boil with 50 milliliters of water in a second saucepan.
- Add the melted chocolate along with the vanilla bean and bring to the boil again, stirring constantly.
- Now pour the finished cocoa into a cup and let it cool down a bit before serving.
