You don’t have to buy whipped cream, you can easily make it yourself. We show you a standard and a low carb recipe for making it.
Make your own whipped cream: standard whipped cream
Make your own whipped cream, consume less waste and save money too. The ingredients are relatively cheap and can be found in any supermarket.
- Ingredients : 50 g powdered sugar, 50 g cornstarch.
- Preparation : Mix both ingredients together. Put the powder in a dry, clean jar. Seal it airtight.
- Application : For 250 ml of whipped cream use 1 teaspoon of the homemade whipped cream. To do this, whip the cream a little and slowly pour in the homemade whipped cream.
Make your own low-carb whipped cream
A low-carb cream stiffener is made as follows:
- Ingredients : 50 g powdered sugar, 25 g locust bean gum.
- Preparation : Mix both ingredients together. Put the powder in a dry, clean jar. Seal it airtight.
- Application : For 250 ml of whipped cream use 1 – 2 teaspoons of the homemade whipped cream. Apply it just like the standard whipped cream variety.
