You can make yogurt ice cream yourself. The creamy refreshment is quick to make and only requires four ingredients. Since there are no additives here, ice cream is also good for your health.

For a homemade yogurt ice cream you need the following ingredients:

  • 80 grams of powdered sugar
  • 200 grams of cream
  • 350 g whole milk yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

How to make the ice cream yourself: recipe

For the homemade ice cream, you first have to whip the cream until stiff.

  1. Mix the yogurt together with the icing sugar to a creamy mass. Gently stir the cream into the yogurt. Add the lemon juice.
  2. Line a loaf tin or freezer box with cling film.
  3. Pour the yogurt mixture into the loaf pan. Cover and place in the freezer for 6 hours. Stir the mixture from time to time with the spoon.
  4. Tip: If you have an ice cream machine, simply pour the mixture into it. Let this run for 30 to 40 minutes until an ice cream mass has formed.
