Mandarin and Sour Cream Sandwiches
The perfect mandarin and sour cream sandwiches recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Glas ~ 200 ml
- 1 glass Fanta or any other orange lemonade
- 1 glass Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 glass Oil
- 4 Eggs
- 3,5 Glasses Flour
- 2 Cans Mandarins, drained
- Covering:
- 2 a cup Sour cream
- 3 a cup Cream
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- Cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle on
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection 180 degrees) and line a baking sheet with baking paper. Drain the mandarins on a sieve.
- For the dough: Mix the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and oil well. Now add the Fanta or any other orange lemonade and keep stirring. Mix the baking powder with the flour and sieve into the mixture. Mix everything into a dough.
- Place the dough on the baking sheet and smooth it out. Spread the drained mandarins on top. Bake the cake at 200 degrees (convection 180 degrees) for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool down.
- Whip the cream until stiff. Add sour cream and a little sugar and stir well until the sugar has dissolved. Spread the sour cream on the cake, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and serve. If you just want to prepare the cake, put it in the cold without cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it on it before serving.
