Mandarins – Curd Cake

The perfect mandarins – curd cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough

  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 1 Pä Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 80 g Soft butter

For covering

  • 3 Cans Mandarins
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 Pä Vanilla pudding
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 500 g Quark

For the casting

  • 1 Pä Red cake topping
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 250 ml Mandarin juice
  1. For the dough, knead the ingredients, press them into a greased springform pan, pulling up the edge. Put something into the fridge.
  1. Drain the mandarins for the topping. Collect the juice. Cook a pudding from the milk, sugar and pudding powder, stir in the quark immediately. Distribute the mixture evenly in the mold, place the mandarins on top. Bake the cake at 1280 degrees for about 60 minutes. Cover with foil if necessary.
  1. Let the cake cool down. Make the icing from the ingredients and distribute evenly over the cake. Let cool down.
