Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 mangoes, ripe
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon, 1 tbsp thickener (from Bio Wertkost at e.g. Edeka)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp orange(s) – peel, grated, untreated
  • 8 biscuits (Amarettini)
  • 2 orange(s), peeled, diced
  • possibly honey if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and halve the mangoes, remove the pit, and peel them. Puree the flesh with vanilla sugar, cinnamon, thickener, and milk, sweetening with honey if desired. Divide the orange cubes among 4 dessert bowls, spoon the mango cream over them, and serve garnished with two amaretti biscuits. Tip: Also delicious with vanilla ice cream. I had this dessert at a friend’s house. It’s very light and has a delicious fruity flavor.
