Mango Layer Dessert in Mason Jar

The perfect mango layer dessert in mason jar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Freshly diced mango
  • 0,5 a cup Cream 30% fat
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 packet Quark
  • 2 tbsp Orange liqueur
  1. Peel and chop the mango. Marinate with the liqueur. If children eat, just leave it out.
  2. Mix the quark with the desired amount of whipped cream and vanilla sugar.
  3. Cut about 0.5cm thick slices from the remains of the chocolate-sour cream cake from my cookbook and cut out circles the size of the jar with a dessert ring.
  4. Press the 1st circle into the jar as the bottom. Spread some vanilla quark thinly on top. The mango pieces on top. Then quark again and on top of that the 2nd floor. If there are still columns of mango, you can use them as decoration.
