Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 bottles of rum flavoring
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the ingredients one at a time, except for the cocoa, into a batter. Pour half of the batter into a well-buttered Bundt pan dusted with breadcrumbs. Stir the cocoa into the remaining batter, pour it onto the light-colored batter, and use a fork to spiral it through the batter. Place in the center of the oven and bake at approximately 175°C for 45-60 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and turn out onto a wire rack. Tip: If you like, you can cover the cake with chocolate glaze.
