Marble Cake with Coconut from Tray

The perfect marble cake with coconut from tray recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 400 g Margarine
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 8 Pc. Eggs
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 6 El Milk
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa
  • 75 g Desiccated coconut
  1. Preparation: – Coarsely chop the chocolate to melt it in a water bath or, if you can, carefully in the pot on the stove. – take two eggs and separate them. Beat the egg whites until stiff (will be used later)
  2. Put the margarine together with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl and stir for about 2 minutes at the highest level. Gradually add the eggs and the two egg yolks and stir again and again in between. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add in small portions alternating with the milk. Mix everything with to a uniform mass.
  3. approx. Pour 1/3 of the batter into another bowl, add the coconut flakes and stir in. Then carefully fold in the egg white.
  4. Stir the melted chocolate and cocoa into the rest of the batter. Grease a baking sheet and spread half of the chocolate dough on it, smooth out. Spread the light coconut dough on top in small portions, then put the remaining chocolate dough on top. By smoothing it out, the marble pattern should come by itself.
  5. Preheat the oven, circulating air about 150 degrees middle rail. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
