Marble cake with Nutella

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 250 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 500 g flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 200g Nutella
  • possibly powdered sugar or
  • Cake icing (chocolate icing)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Add the baking powder, flour, salt, and milk and mix everything into a smooth dough. Divide the dough in half and mix the Nutella into one half. Pour the light dough into the pan first, then the dark dough. Use a fork to create a spiral pattern. Bake in a preheated oven (150°C fan-assisted or 175°C conventional) for about 60 minutes. Depending on the oven and baking pan, a higher temperature and possibly longer baking time may be required. Be sure to test with the skewer! This amount is enough for a 26 cm springform pan with a tube base. If you like, the cake can be covered in powdered sugar or chocolate glaze.
