Marble eggnog cake with cherries and nougat

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 225 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 450 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 5 tbsp eggnog
  • 100 g nougat
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Flour , for the shape
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for 20 pieces

Beat softened butter, salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix the baking powder and flour, sift them into the egg mixture, and stir in with the cream. Do not overmix! Drain the cherries well. Roughly dice the nougat. Divide the dough in half. Stir the cocoa powder, nougat, and advocaat into one half. Mix the white batter with the cherries. Grease a ring or bundt pan and dust with flour. Pour the white batter into the pan. Spread the dark batter on top and press it in with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven (150°C fan/175°C electric oven) for approx. 60 minutes. Let cool and dust with icing sugar.
