Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quick sauce for burgers and also for meat

First, separate two egg yolks, place them in a mixing bowl with salt, sugar, mustard, garlic, pepper, and a generous dash of pickle vinegar, and beat with a hand mixer. Then, slowly add the oil until the sauce thickens. Next, finely chop an onion and four gherkins—the finer the better—and stir them into the sauce. Finally, add ketchup and stir it in until the sauce takes on a fruitier flavor. It’s perfect for burgers, but also great with meat.
