Marinated spring onions

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • e.g. olive oil
  • n. B. Salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • n. B. Rosemary, approx. 1 – 2 stems

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

e.g. for raclette

Clean the spring onions and cut them into approximately 10 cm pieces. Place them in a vacuum-sealed bag. Season generously with olive oil, salt, a pinch of sugar, and (if desired, with one or two sprigs of rosemary), and seal the bag airtight (of course, the seasoning is unlimited). It’s best to let them soak overnight; it adds a great flavor. We like to eat the onions with raclette or grill them whole in the summer.
