Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g potatoes
- 500 g flour
- ¼ liter of water (mineral water is also possible)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 150 g smoked bacon
- ⅛ liter milk

Peel the potatoes, cut into sticks, and cook in salted water. Make a thick batter from the flour, water, and eggs. Boil 2 liters of salted water and add the batter a tablespoon at a time. Let it stand for about 5 minutes. Then remove from the pan. Dice the bacon, fry it, and mix it with the milk. In a preheated bowl, alternate layers of potato sticks and the dumplings. Then pour the bacon and milk sauce over them. Serve with a salad.
