Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp garlic granules
  • 1 tbsp marjoram, shredded
  • 1 tbsp thyme, shredded
  • 1 tbsp rosemary, ground
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper, if you like it a little hotter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

spice mix

Mix everything thoroughly and store in a sealable container in a dark place. I use the spice mix in powder form to season schnitzels and strips of meat. As a marinade for steaks, I mix the powder with oil, mustard, and onion rings. Toss the steaks in the mixture and marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, so the onions are also nicely flavored.
