Marzipan – almond – pastries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 120 g margarine
  • 60 g cornstarch
  • 120 g flour
  • 30 g ground almonds
  • 2 tsp bitter almond flavoring
  • 200 g almonds, whole, peeled
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes about 45 pieces

Crumble the marzipan mixture into a bowl. Add the egg, powdered sugar, margarine, cornstarch, flour, almonds, and bitter almond flavoring. Mix everything thoroughly with a hand mixer on high speed for about 2 minutes. Using 2 teaspoons, place small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place 1 almond on each. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 12 minutes. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
