Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 180 g flour
- 60 g sugar
- 50 g marzipan paste
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp Amaretto
- 4 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- ½ pack of baking powder
Instructions

Super tender and crispy. Baked in a waffle iron
Combine the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder in a bowl and mix. Finely dice the marzipan and add it to the flour and sugar mixture along with the egg, butter (or margarine), and amaretto. Beat everything with a hand mixer for a few minutes until you have a smooth, glossy batter. Preheat a waffle iron and bake the batter (teaspoon at a time). Remove the finished cookies from the iron with a wooden spatula or similar tool and let them cool completely to give them the right crunch.
