Marzipan Dream Pieces
The perfect marzipan dream pieces recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Flour
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 5 Egg yolk
- 250 g Soft butter
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 100 g Powdered sugar + something to dust
- 50 g Sugar
- 100 g Marzipan
- 3 drops Bitter almond oil
- Finely chop the marzipan and separate the eggs.
- Mix the egg yolks with the remaining ingredients and work them into a smooth dough.
- Then divide the dough into 3 portions and wrap it in foil in the form of balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Shape the dough into 1 cm thick rolls and flatten them very lightly.
- Use a knife to cut into pieces approx. 2 cm wide and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a small gap between them.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° for about 14 minutes, let cool down briefly and dust with powdered sugar.
- Keep the marzipan dream back in a biscuit tin airtight.
