Mascarpone mousse

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g mascarpone
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar
  • 400 g fruit, strawberries or currants, slightly frozen
  • Biscuit(s) (amaretti) for garnish

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Place the mascarpone in a bowl and beat until creamy. Add the egg yolks and sugar and mix well. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour. Then pour the cream into glasses and layer them alternately with the berries. The final layer should be a layer of mascarpone. Refrigerate the filled glasses for another 20 minutes. Serve the finished dessert with amaretti biscuits.
