Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 150 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 750 g strawberries
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 4 m.-sized eggs, of which the yolk
- 300 g mascarpone
- 250 g cream cheese
- 200 g ladyfingers
- 1 tbsp pistachios
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Boil orange juice with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Wash and hull the strawberries, slice half, and quarter the others. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise. Scrape out the seeds. Mix the vanilla seeds with the egg yolks, mascarpone, quark, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Line a rectangular dish with half of the sponge fingers and drizzle with 75 ml of orange juice. Arrange the strawberry slices on top. Spread with half of the mascarpone cream. Place the remaining sponge fingers on top. Drizzle with the remaining juice. Top with the strawberry quarters and the remaining mascarpone cream. Cover and chill for 1-2 hours. Chop the pistachios and spread them over the tiramisu.
