Mashed Potatoes Baked with Onions and Cheese
The perfect mashed potatoes baked with onions and cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Freshly peeled potatoes
- Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Onions
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp Freshly chopped rosemary
- 200 g Cheddar cheese
- 200 g Gorgonzola
- 200 ml Cream
- 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
- 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
- 1 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp Tellicherry pepper
- 50 g Freshly grated Parmesan
- FINALLY A CHILLY POTATO MREAD! 😀 Boil potatoes in salted water. Meanwhile, peel the onions and garlic. Dice the onions and finely grate the garlic! Grate the cheese finely! I don’t like gorgonzola! Depending on the taste, the cheese can be exchanged! 🙂
- Heat the butter and oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown. Just before the end, briefly sizzle with the garlic and rosemary.
- Mash the potatoes with the cream, onion mixture, garlic pepper, seasoned salt! Then fold in the cheese and season with nutmeg and pepper!
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees!
- Grease a baking dish and use two spoons (dip the spoon into water again and again) cut off the cams from the potato mixture and place in the dish!
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes!
- Serve! There was also beef fillet steak & almond broccoli!
