Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Swiss Chard

Mashed sweet potatoes
- 4 Pc. Sweet potatoes
- 4 Pc. Sweet potatoes purple
- Salt and pepper
Swiss chard
- 3 Pc. Swiss chard fresh
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 2 Pc. Clove of garlic
Mashed sweet potatoes
- 2 Put on pots with salt water. Peel the purple and normal sweet potatoes and cut them into cubes, then simmer them separately in the respective pots until soft. Drain the water and then mash the potatoes until creamy and season them heartily with pepper, salt and maybe a little nutmeg. Possibly add a trick of butter.
Swiss chard
- Clean the chard and cut into large pieces and boil in water for 5 minutes. Then fry vigorously in good olive oil with garlic and serve with the mashed potatoes.
